A private culinary walking tour that combines a visit of Brussels on foot with dinner served in 3 different restaurants. On this unique walk through Brussels, we discover the city from different angles. In approximately five hours time we discover a few popular areas and the most important sites of the city center on foot. At the same time, during this walk we focus on some details showing us how Brussels is different from other cities in Belgium and Europe.
Have you ever heard of shrimp fishing by horse… probably not? We’ll explain! Would you like to try locally caught and prepared seafood? Then this is the tour for you. We’ll travel by coach and visit the Flanders coast. The full-day Belgian Coast Day Trip also includes several war memorial sites and Belle Epoque architecture.
During this full-day visit to the Belgian coast we’ll combine cultural sights such as the Paul Delvaux Museum and the James Ensor house with train exhibits and rides in a historical coastal tram. Delvaux and Ensor were both influential innovators of modern art in Belgium. We’ll visit several Belle Epoque-style buildings and maritime places of interest.
If you like the beach and the ocean, consider this fun event for your next corporate team building activity or incentive on the Belgian coast. Find out what wind energy really is and what it feels like! For 2 to 3 hours we’ll combine two adventure activities
Visit the Belgian coast by historical coastal tram and go back in time, all the way to the Belle Epoque (1870 - 1914). This was a time when Europe’s middle class prospered and tourism became increasingly important. Several of the grandest buildings in the coastal towns of Blankenberge and De Haan have been restored and now offer a glimpse into that carefree and festive Belle Epoque era.
Antwerp, the medieval international port city on the Scheldt river (and Europe’s second largest harbour), will surprise you with its diamonds, ladies, and cathedrals: the centuries-old Diamond District, the eclectic ‘Railway Cathedral’ train station, the Cathedral of our Lady (St Mary’s cathedral), and the full-figured ladies painted by world-famous Baroque painter Rubens.
Did you know that in the year 1900, Belgians drank an average of 200 litres of beer each year? Today, this was brought down to ‘only’ 72 litres per person, still an impressive amount. In this small country, there are approximately 180 breweries, from microbreweries to international giants exporting Belgian beer all over the world. We’re not sure how many pubs there are in Belgium, but we’ll show your group the best bars and pubs in Brussels, and have you taste Brussels’ best beer.
Make this Spring a happy one, and come enjoy the sights and smells of Flanders’ parks and gardens when your group takes part in one of our Garden Tours Belgium. You’ll be surprised how many Belgian gardens can be found in and around Belgium’s famous historical settings. This tour covers gardens in Brussels, Ghent and Bruges and their surrounding areas, and we’ll make sure your tour members will find a good balance between garden visits, historical sights, delicious meals, city strolls and fascinating discoveries!
